Avenues Gorman Classic
A Great day for golf, tennis and friendship

For 18 years the Avenues/Gorman Classic has served not only as a magnificent day out for golfers and tennis players, but also as a successful fundraising event for Avenues, as well.

Hosted by Park Ridge residents Bill and Vivien Gorman, the Classic offers a day of golf or tennis at the prestigious Park Ridge Country Club, along with a cocktail reception and gourmet dinner. Last year Classic Chairmen Jerry Feldman and Alan Bartel succeeded in expanding the auction portions of the event and was pleased with increased attendance both on the greens and on the courts.

Board Member and host Bill Gorman welcomed players and dinner guests to the reception and thanked them for their ongoing support of Avenues. The 2008 Classic will take place on Monday, July 21st.   Proceeds from the Classic will be used to support Avenues residential and vocational programming.
