Striking Back at Funding Cuts 

Join us as we “score” for Avenues at 10 Pin Bowling Alley, 330 N. State St (at Marina City) Chicago, on Thursday evening May 20 from 6-9 pm.  

For the “spare” sum of $45 you’ll enjoy an evening of bowling, food, and alcoholic beverages, plus you’ll be helping Avenues’ residents who recently lost their state funding. 

Hosted by the Chicago Partnership Board of Avenues, all proceeds will go towards our residents’ rent payments, as we “strike” back at funding cuts. 

Space is limited, so please register on Avenues’ website www.avenuestoindependence.org. You can register in a team of 6, or register individually to be placed on a team.  Prizes will be awarded to the team with the highest score, and as an added bonus, each team of 6 will be joined by an Avenues’ participant.  

Bowling skills are a little rusty?  Don’t worry - teams can buy strikes and spares to improve their scores!  Guests can also participate in the Guitar Hero Competition for $5 per play.
