Heritage Society Celebrates 10 Year Milestone
In
the spring of 2001, the Avenues to Independence Heritage Society was
established to recognize and honor donors whose future gifts would
secure continued opportunities for people with developmental
disabilities.
This small group of
Avenues’ donors was comprised of dedicated families, friends, and
community members who wanted to ensure the best quality of life for
these special needs adults in the generations to come.
Sadly, ten years later,
a few of our charter members are no longer with us, but through
their legacy they helped us deliver on our lifelong commitment to
the people we serve.
Today, the Heritage
Society has grown to include over 40 families who continue to help
us deliver on that promise.
As the Heritage Society
celebrates its 10th anniversary this spring, all members
will be honored at a dinner reception hosted by Fred and Pam Sasser.
This will also be the 10th year that Fred and Pam have
graciously sponsored the Heritage Society Dinner, and we extend our
sincere thanks for their continued generosity.
If you have provided for
Avenues in your will or estate plan, and are interested in becoming
a member of the Heritage Society, please give us a call. We would
be happy to discuss the many ways you can contribute to Avenues.
