Recycling Avenue, a program of Avenues to Independence was launched in 2007 by two physically challenged young adults who wanted to work and make a difference in our environment.

Avenues believed in their idea, and provided space to put their plan into action.  Today, dozens of recycling bins are located in businesses and communities throughout Chicagoland, including Winnetka, Wilmette, Kenilworth, Buffalo Grove, and Maine Township.

• 35mm, digital and video cameras
• MP3 players
• Laptops/Notebooks
• LCD monitors
• Graphing calculators
• Routers and Modems
• GPS devices
• Radar detectors
• E-book readers

We Do Not Accept:

• Printers
• CRT monitors
• Computer towers
• Fax machines
• DVD players
• Keyboards

Please contact us to pick-up large quantities or recycling items that exceed the bin size.  Your donations make a big difference!
