Internship/Employment Opportunities at Avenues:

Avenues provides many internship/employment opportunities for persons interested in working in the developmental disability field. 

Internship positions in social work, counseling, job placement, rehabilitation counseling, disability policy, development/fund raising and other related fields are possible at any time.

For employment, individuals may begin a career in Direct care at our work center or in one of the residential programs.  Individuals with undergraduate degrees in a related field can consider opportunities as a case manager (qualified developmental disability professional) or other management position.

Other opportunities are also available.  These include office positions, Thrift Shop retail sales, drivers, maintenance and overnight residential direct care positions.
