Placement and Developmental Training
Programs
Developmental Training Programs: Learning and
improving everyday life and work skills is the
central aspect of developmental training.
Individuals are provided with opportunities to
experience situations in which socially acceptable
personal and work habits can be learned and
enhanced.
Opportunities to earn an income are provided through
contracts procured from various businesses and
industries in the Chicago metropolitan area. Current
Enrollment: 135
Employment Programs-Develops employment
opportunities, on-the-job training and support
services for persons employed in the community.
Works with employers to increase their knowledge of
persons with disabilities. Current Population: 60
Job coaching is currently provided on a time limited
