Avenues to Independence celebrated the 15th Annual Spotlight on Wine on Thursday October 24 at the Harold Washington Library Winter Garden. Wines were generously donated by Jim Cosma of Atlas Imports and the food was once again provided by Hel’s Kitchen.

The event raised more than $66,000 and the proceeds will help provide improvements to the programs at the Center for Independence including employment training, movement and exercise programs, computer training, and accessibility and transportation enhancements.

Thank you to the Avenues Chicago Partnership Board and especially event Chair Kara Allcox and co-chair Joe Bertoni for all of their hard work to make this event such a success. Also, thank you to the sponsors and to all who donated items to the raffle and silent auction.
