Avenues Tea & Fashion show models strut to success!
On Sunday September 15 Avenues to Independence held the 8th Annual Beyond the Runway Tea & Fashion Show was held the Chicago/ Northbrook Hilton Hotel and raised more than $28,000. Proceeds will help support the AveVenture Employment Program at the Avenues Thrift Shoppe.
Guests enjoyed afternoon tea and sandwiches, browsed raffle prizes and bid on silent auction items. The fashion show featured models that wore items that were from the Thrift Shoppe and were available for purchase after the show. Thank you to the Fashion show committee, sponsors, donors and especially the models for making this a fun day for the Avenues program participants and the friends and supporters of Avenues.
