Honoring 70 Years of Service
Avenues began a yearlong celebration to honor out 70 years of service with a 70th Anniversary Kickoff Event on Saturday, February 11 at Joe’s Live in Rosemont. The event raised $547,000 to help support Avenues program participants and ensure they can continue to live their lives with independence and dignity.
Longtime Avenues supporters Ed Coyne and Matt Coyne were awarded the William & Jean Knaack Spirit of Avenues Award. They were presented with a piece of artwork created by Avenues program participant Brian that will displayed at Coyne Insurance where Brian has been employed for over a decade. The 70th kickoff Event included food, fun and entertainment by Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press.
